Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. Policies

Stopping Service
Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. reserves the right to stop any service they deem unsafe.

Aggressive or Dangerous Pets
Owners must inform Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. if your pet bites, has bitten or is aggressive to people, pets or specific grooming procedures. Owners must understand, if necessary, muzzles may be used for safety. Comb & Collar Grooming reserves the right to refuse/stop services for aggressive or dangerous pets. Handling fees may be added to services provided to these pets.

Health/Medical Problems & Senior Pets
Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for senior pets or pets with health problems, and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. Because senior pets and pets with health problems have a great risk of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort. These pets will be groomed in styles that are in the best interest of the pet. In the event a pet becomes too stressed, or the service becomes unsafe services will be stopped.

Matted Hair Removal
Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. reserve the right to remove matting as they deem safest. Depending on the severity of the matting the risk of nicks/tears, skin irritation or hematomas increases. Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. will notify the owner of all the risks ahead of time but are not liable. It is the owner’s responsibility to maintain the pet's coat to avoid matting.

Accidents
There is always a risk of an injury happening when working with animals. All associates at Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. are trained to provide safe grooming services. Our goal is to create a safe, stress-free environment for all people and pets. Every effort will be made to ensure your pet is groomed as safely as possible; however, some pets may have reactions to grooming products or procedures that are out of our control.

Respectful Environment
Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. is a safe environment where we want all people and pets to feel comfortable. There may be times we may ask to change a service or a way a service is being done to create a better outcome for you, your pet and/or us. We ask for mutual respect and cooperation from all clients, pets and associates. We reserve the right to refuse service in the event any disrespect is displayed.

Cancellation & Late Fees
Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. requires 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We understand life happens, but we ask for as much notice as possible. If a client gives less than 24 hours notice we hold the right to ask for prepayment or a credit card to be added to the file to hold appointments in the future.
Comb & Collar Grooming Inc is a one-on-one appointment-based pet salon. This helps create a less stressful environment for your pets. For us to succeed at creating this positive environment we ask all clients to drop off and pick up their pet on time. If a client is going to be more than 5 minutes late, we ask to be notified by phone. If a client is 15 minutes or later for an appointment Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. reserves the right to refuse service. A cancellation fee will be charged at this time.
We do not want to do this, but no-shows/last minute cancellation directly affect all our associates financially, its Comb & Collar Grooming Inc. right to protect them.
